Issue:
On certain travel trailers, the right-front tire may come in contact with a bracket for the slide-out. This could cause tire damage and result in poor vehicle handling or a tire failure.
Safety Risk:
A sudden change in vehicle handling or a tire failure could increase the risk of a loss of control, and may result in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to install a lift kit to provide proper clearance between the tire and the slide-out bracket.
