Issue

Issue:
On certain school buses, under certain conditions, the ignition interlock system may not work properly. As a result, you may be able to start the engine even if the rear emergency door is locked.

Safety Risk:
A locked emergency door could delay passengers from leaving the bus in an emergency. This could create a risk of injury.

Corrective Action:
Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your school bus to a dealership to repair the ignition interlock system.
