Affected products

This recall involves WarmWave and Hunter Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heaters. The recalled products can be identified by model number HPQ15G-M which is located on the cETL label found on the bottom of the product.

Issue

The recalled heater’s cord and plug can overheat when in use, posing a burn and fire hazard.

As of June 13, 2022, the company has received no reports of injuries or incidents in Canada.  In the Unites States, the company has received 8 customer reports of fire at the plug or cord and dozens of reports of the plug or cord overheating, with no reports of injury or death and one report of minor property damage.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and visit www.homeproductservice.com/recall to apply for full or partial product refund.

The company reported that 14,764 units of the WarmWave product and 22,816 units of the Hunter product were sold in Canada. In the United States, approximately 580,000 units were sold in total.
