Affected products

This recall involves the APOTHEKE Pumpkin Ginger 3 Wick Candle. The candle has white colored wax with a cotton wick in an amber glass container. The candles weigh about 26 ounces, and batch code CB-240603 is located on the bottom label of the glass container. It has a Model number of AP03-PG and UPC of 850046796654.

Issue

The recalled products may have a flame that can spread from the wicks to the wax, causing larger-than-expected flames, posing a potential fire hazard.

As of February 28, 2025, the company has received 1 report of an incident that resulted in minor property damage in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 5 reports of incidents where some resulted in property damage and 1 report of a minor burn.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled APOTHEKE Pumpkin Ginger 3 Wick Candles sold between June 2024 and January 2025 from batch CB-240603. Consumers should complete the Product Feedback Form online at https://apothekeco.com/pages/candlerecall to receive a credit or refund.

Consumers can also reach out to recall@apothekeco.com, and they will receive a response from Customer Service requesting a receipt or a photo of the candle with a picture of the date on a piece of paper. Customer Service can also be reached at 718-596-1534 between 9 am and 5 pm EST Monday through Friday.
