Affected products
This recall involves Auto World Unassembled Deluxe Pit Kit Slot Cars. The model number, UPC and date code are on the back of package. Some models will also have a date code. Each Deluxe Pit Kit Slot Car is sold individually, unassembled, and some models are sold unpainted or painted. The recalled models have two loose magnets that are not attached to the chassis of the unassembled slot cars. The magnets are attached to the chassis during the assembly process.

Issue
There are loose magnets in unassembled versions of the Deluxe Pit Kit Slot Cars, posing an ingestion hazard.
Small, powerful magnets can be easily swallowed by children of all ages, posing serious and potentially life-threatening risks.
When more than one powerful magnet is swallowed in a short period of time, the magnets can attract one another while moving through the intestines. This can cause the intestines to twist, creating blockages or tearing of the intestinal wall.
As of March 27, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Round 2 LLC for a refund.
