Affected products

This recall involves Bondo® Hair Long Strand Reinforced Fiberglass Filler sold in a metal container (907 g) with a white lid. The product is a waterproof body filler for vehicle repair/restoration work, including filling rust holes and restoring shattered fibreglass. The container has a black, grey, and red label that features a red car and black and white boat with UPC 0076308007621 and Model Number 762C.

Issue

The recalled products do not meet the labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury.

As of March 16, 2023, the company has received no reports of injuries or incidents in Canada related to the use of these products.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled and return to the place of purchase.
