Affected products
This recall involves Petzl SIMBA CLIMBING, SIMBA PARK, SWAN EASYFIT STEEL, and SWAN EASYFIT STAINLESS full-body harnesses. The affected model numbers are listed in the table below. SIMBA CLIMBING is a full-body children’s harness designed for climbing, and SIMBA PARK is a full-body children’s harness designed for adventure parks. SWAN EASYFIT STEEL and SWAN EASYFIT STAINLESS are full-body harnesses designed for adventure parks. The SIMBA models are designed for children between 110 and 160 cm tall. SIMBA models feature a FAST LT PIN-LOCK buckle, at the back of the harness, colour-coded webbing, and self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for adjustment. The SWAN EASYFIT models feature colour-coded straps and a FAST LT PIN-LOCK buckle system that can only be opened with a special tool. All four models are offered in a single size and are available individually or in packs of five.

Issue
A missing rivet in the FAST LT PIN-LOCK buckle could cause the buckle to open, posing a fall hazard that could result in serious injury or death.
As of May 13, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.
