Affected products
This recall involves Zebra blinds and Roller blinds custom made by SoHo Blinds. The Zebra blinds are a dual layer shade that have a striped pattern using sheer and solid fabric bands. They are equipped with a cord and cord shield that operates to lift/lower the blinds. The Roller blinds feature a flat fabric panel that rolls up or down and is equipped with a continuous loop chain.
Issue
Health Canada has determined that the recalled Zebra blinds do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death.
Health Canada has determined that the Roller blinds release small parts that present a choking hazard to young children.

As of April 20, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
