Zimmer Biomet is conducting a lot specific recall for the Echo Bi-Metric Collarless Porous Stem (size 7). In 2008, the Echo Bi-Metric Hip Stems underwent a design change to reduce the lateral shoulder of the device in order to make insertion of the device easier during surgery. It was later determined that item 195207 has the potential to fracture based on insertion testing.
