Affected products

This recall involves Essential Values Golf Grip Solvent (8 fl. oz) and Essential Values Grip & Rip re-gripping solution sold as a kit with 14 strips of golf tape, both sold in a clear container. In the past, the products were sold as 2 pack, 4 pack, 6 pack and with 28 golf strips bundle. It can also be identified by UPC 7 54568 95448 9 (on the bottle).

Issue

The recalled products do not meet the hazard labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury.

As of July 3, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received no reports of incidents and no reports of injuries.
