Issue
Health Canada has determined that the use of these restraints in a motor vehicle could increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision.
Additionally, these products do not display Transport Canada's National Safety Mark and therefore have not been certified to meet the safety requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations.
The use of these restraints in a motor vehicle would be considered illegal under provincial and territorial highway regulations.
What you should do
Consumers who have this affected product should immediately stop using it and safely dispose of the item in such a way that it cannot be used again.

The product has been removed from sale online from the AliExpress website. Health Canada has contacted the foreign selling company who has been unresponsive to requests to voluntarily recall, therefore Health Canada is advising consumers to immediately stop using the affected Belecoo car seat sold with the 3 in 1 Baby Stroller. Health Canada reminds consumers to learn about the risks of buying consumer products online (see Related Links above).
AliExpress reported that 10 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
To date, no incidents or injuries related to this product have been reported to Health Canada.
