Affected products

A baby walker is an enclosed activity structure built to support a baby or young child in either a sitting or standing position so that their feet touch the floor. Walkers are mounted on wheels or a device that allows independent horizontal movement.

This alert involves the “MUELODSIC - Multifunctional Walker with Adjustable Height and Speed Push and Sit Learning Walker with Sunshade” (ASIN B0FWGCCJ14) sold on Amazon.ca.

Issue

Baby walkers are banned in Canada.

Children in baby walkers are exposed to hazards that would not normally be accessible if the child were not supported by the walker, posing a variety of risks of injury to the child. Children in baby walkers can also fall down the stairs, which could result in injury or death.

Consumers who have the affected product should immediately stop using it and safely dispose of the item in such a way that it cannot be used again.

Regularly check the Healthy Canadians Recalls and Safety Alerts database for dangerous products and take action to remove items of concern.
