The products were sold online on the website Amazon.ca and may have also been sold through other online marketplaces.
Issue
Health Canada has determined that the use of these restraints in a motor vehicle could increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision.
Additionally, these products do not display Transport Canada's National Safety Mark and therefore have not been certified to meet the safety requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations.
The use of these restraints in a motor vehicle would be considered illegal under provincial and territorial highway regulations.

Consumers who have these affected products should immediately stop using them and safely dispose of the items in such a way that they cannot be used again.

The product has been removed from sale online from the website Amazon.ca. Health Canada has contacted the foreign selling company and is advising consumers to immediately stop using the affected child restraint system.

Amazon.ca reported that approximately 7 units of the affected product were sold in Canada. The affected products were sold from October to November 2024.
To date, no incidents or injuries related to this product have been reported to Health Canada.
