Product description
This recalls involves the American Girl WellieWishers Magic Theater Play Tent sold exclusively online by Indigo Books & Music Inc. in Canada and directly from American Girl's US webstore. The child-sized play tent features printed fabric with the WellieWishers cottage on the front and cutout windows with tie-back curtains. The model number is DRK40 and UPC is 887961398335.
Hazard identified
The play tent does not meet the requirements for tent flammability under Canadian law. The tents could catch fire if exposed to a flame or other ignition source, and pose possible fire and burn hazards to consumers.
As of November 6, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Approximately 25 units of the affected products were sold exclusively online in Canada.
Indigo Books & Music Inc. has been advised by their supplier, American Girl, that they sold 118 units of the affected products to Canadian consumers through the American Girl's US webstore.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled play tents. Consumers who purchased the product from Indigo Books & Music Inc. should return the product to an Indigo or Chapters retail location for a refund.
