Product description
This recall involves various Mailles et Copeaux brand toy cars made of recycled wood. The toy cars measure approximately 2.5 centimetres x 5 centimetres x 8 centimetres and were sold in different colours and models.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the recalled toys do not meet the Canadian safety requirements for toys. The wheels and axles of the toy cars can detach, which poses a choking hazard for young children.
As of April 30, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these toys in Canada.
