Product description
This product is sold in various colours as part of a surprise collection. Each surprise contains a unicorn poop that can be opened on the bottom to reveal the slime surprise inside. The product affected by this recall is identified by item number 557036/557036X1 located above the UPC code on the package. The UPC code is 035051557036.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that this toy does not meet the Canadian toy safety requirements for boric acid content.
Boric acid can be toxic to children if licked or swallowed. Children are more sensitive to boric acid toxicity than adults. High levels of boric acid ingestion may have long- term effects on a child's development and their further reproductive health.
As of October 31, 2019, the company has received no reports of injury in Canada.
