Affected products
This recall involves fabric roller blinds manufactured by Interiors by Better Shade, available in various colours and fabrics. The roller blinds contain a cassette headrail system and a plastic hem grip pull system. The shades are equipped with a continuous loop chain lift, and a clear plastic shroud.
Issue
Health Canada has determined that the recalled products do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death.

As of January 23, 2026, the company has received no report of incidents or injury in Canada.
