Affected products
This recall involves fabric roller shades manufactured by Starlight Shutter Inc., available in grey or white. The roller shades contain a fabric cassette headrail system and a plastic hem grip pull system. The shades are equipped with a continuous loop chain lift, and a clear plastic shroud.
Issue
Health Canada has determined that the recalled products do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death.

As of January 19, 2026, the company has received no report of incidents or injury in Canada.
