Sensi Brands Ltd. recalls Wintermint Chillows and Cinnamon Chillows due to product quality issue

Issue
The products contained inaccurate THC values that differ from the label. The pouches contain over 10 mg of THC, and there is significant unit-to-unit variability of THC between pouches.
The elevated and inconsistent levels of THC in each pouch may make it difficult to make informed decisions regarding your cannabis use. This may lead to over-intoxication and temporary adverse health consequences associated with THC overdose, which could include:
- confusion
- disorganized thinking
- physical and mental impairment
- anxiety
- fear or panic
- decreased blood pressure
- elevated heart rate
In remote cases, depending on the individual and the dose of THC consumed, THC overdose can also result in psychotic episodes characterized by paranoia, delusion or hallucinations. These effects could in some cases lead to an emergency department visit or hospitalization.
What you should do
- Stop using the products if they are part of the recall.
- Return the products to the store where you bought them or dispose of them. Dispose of any products that you have opened safely and out of the reach of children and youth.
- Report any health or safety complaints you have about these or other cannabis products by filling out the Cannabis Reporting Form online.

Background
The recall was initiated following a Health Canada inspection triggered by a complaint. Samples were collected and subsequent analyses revealed issues with the affected products.
The following recalled products were sold from April 16 to July 30, 2025 to registered medical clients and through authorized retailers in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba and British Columbia:
- 3,192 units of Wintermint Chillows
- 237 units of Cinnamon Chillows
To date, Sensi Brands Ltd. has not received any complaints or adverse reaction reports. Health Canada has received 2 complaints regarding other lots of similar products and no adverse reaction reports.
