This recall involves the Shandi 0-25Kg Big Space Electric Baby Crib Cradle Infant Rocker Auto Swing Bed Baby Cradle. This pink, foldable and portable electric cradle features 5 swing speeds and 12 built in songs with Bluetooth/USB connection functions.
Issue
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these cradles do not meet the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the product contains a restraint system which is not allowed as it poses a risk of entanglement and strangulation.
Health Canada reminds parents and caregivers that the safest place for a baby to sleep is on their back on a firm, flat surface intended for sleep. As of April 18, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
