THS™ Neonatal Cart With Powervar Security II Medical UPM

Dräger has been made aware of an incident involving the UPS battery on the Technimount THS™ Neonatal Cart switching off during patient transfer with the Dräger incubator Babyleo® TN500 (Health Canada file no. 230304). There were no injuries or impact on patient care resulting from this incident, however Dräger Medical Canada Inc., the  distributor of the cart has deemed necessary to initiate a recall to advise users to adhere to the battery IFU to prevent a similar failure.
