Immediately stop using the recalled mug and return it to a Tim Hortons restaurant location by April 22, 2026 for a full refund.  

Affected products

This recall involves a 16oz white ceramic mug with a donut design on the front and back of the product.  The mug interior and handle are pink.  The chocolate dip donut decal changes colour and reveals one of four donut designs (Vanilla Dip, Honey Cruller, Maple Butter Glaze, and Honey Dip) when warm liquid is poured in. 

The mug was available for purchase at Tim Hortons locations and online at Timshop.ca  

Issue

The mug may crack or break when in use or filled with hot liquid, posing a burn hazard to users. 

As of March 10, 2026, the company has received 28 reports of incidents in Canada, and 1 report of burn injury.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mug and return it to a Tim Hortons restaurant location by April 22nd, 2026 for a full refund.  Returns may be accepted thereafter for refund.
