Issue

Polaris Industries is conducting a voluntary Safety Advisory Program involving throttle assemblies on certain snowmobiles. The throttle assembly located on the right handlebar could become dislodged through impact, rotation, or other manipulation. If this assembly becomes dislodged, and is not properly repaired, the Lower Retention Block may interfere with the Throttle Flipper. This could cause the throttle to stick in the open position, which could result in unintended vehicle movement, potentially resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Polaris is advising owners who experience a throttle block that becomes dislodged or damaged to take their vehicle to a Polaris dealer for repair. This action is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
