Issue

On certain motorcycles, a wiring harness could have been damaged during the assembly process. This could cause various components not to operate, such as the turn signals, headlight, taillight, horn and/or instrument panel. The lack of exterior light could reduce a driver’s visibility and also reduce the motorcycle’s conspicuity. A damaged harness could also result in an engine stall and/or cause the motorcycle not to start. These issues could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the wiring harness for damage and replace as necessary.
