Issue:
On certain fifth-wheel travel trailers, the bolts that attach the pin box and chassis assembly may not be properly tightened. If the bolts vibrate loose, the pin box could detach from the trailer.
Safety Risk:
A pin box that detaches from the trailer while towing creates a risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take the trailer to a dealer to have the pin box bolts inspected and replaced as required.
