Issue

Issue:
The compliance label on certain motorcycles may be missing information. The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and gross axle weight rating (GAWR) values may not be listed. The proper tire pressure and rim size may also be missing. Without this information, a user may overload the motorcycle or its tires. This could cause poor handling. A tire that is underinflated or overloaded could fail.

Safety Risk:
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the compliance label inspected and replaced as required.
