Issue

Issue:
A problem with a wiring harness connector could cause the airbag system, turn signals or engine starting system not to work properly. It could also cause false warning lights to come on in the instrument cluster after starting the vehicle.

Safety Risk:
An airbag system that does not work properly in a crash could create a risk of injury. A loss of turn signal function could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to repair the wiring harness and connectors.
