Issue:
One Voltage 4185 travel trailer was built with an undersized pin box hitch, rated for 18,000 lb. (8165 kg) instead of 21,000 lb. (9525 kg). This could cause the hitch to be overloaded.
Safety Risk:
An overloaded pin box could fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
As this trailer has not yet been sold, no owner notification is necessary. The dealer will replace the pin box with one of the correct rating before the trailer is sold.
