Issue

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the nut that connects the driveshaft to the wheel hub may not be tightened correctly. Over time, the nut could loosen and may result in the driveshaft disconnecting. This could cause a loss of power to the drive wheels. Additionally, if the parking brake is not applied, this could allow the car to roll away.

Safety Risk:
A loss of power to the drive wheels or sudden, unexpected movement of the car could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the nut with a new one and ensure it is tightened correctly.
