Issue:
On certain vehicles, a bolt for the brake pedal mounting bracket may not have been properly tightened or could be missing. Over time, this could cause the brake pedal mounting area to deform. This could reduce braking performance.
Safety Risk:
Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
All vehicles will be remedied by Subaru Canada prior to their release to Subaru dealers.
