Transport Canada Recall - 2019509 - TEMSA

Issue:
On certain buses, the relay valves for the air brake system may be assembled incorrectly. This could cause the valve to not function properly and cause an air leak. This could result in reduced braking.

Safety Risk:
Reduced braking could result in extend stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Temsa will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a Temsa service center to replace the air brake relay valves. Alternatively, Temsa will provide owners with the replacement valves and instructions for installing them.
