Issue:
On certain travel trailers, the tire may come in contact with the wheel well while driving. This could cause tire damage and result in poor vehicle handling.
Safety Risk:
A sudden change in vehicle handling or a tire failure could increase the risk of a loss of control, and may result in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to replace the axle equalizers. The tires should also be inspected, and replaced if damage is found.
