Issue

Issue:
On a small number of 911 Carrera 4S models, a fastener for the front axle differential bracket was not properly tightened. As a result, the front differential could move and damage nearby parts, including the fuel tank. This could cause a fuel leak.

Safety Risk:
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions:
Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your car to a dealer to replace the fasteners for the front axle transmission and inspect for damage. Any damaged components will be replaced.
