Issue

Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the bracket that secures the auxiliary batteries (located inside the interior step compartment) could loosen over time. As a result, the bracket could move and make contact with the battery terminals. This could cause a short circuit. If this happens, the battery may become hot and may begin to smoke and/or create an odor.

Safety Risk:
A short circuit could create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions:
REV Recreation Group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the battery hold-down fastening hardware.
