Issue:
One travel trailer was built with the wrong tires and axles with the wrong load rating. The trailer was built with axles rated for 1587 kg (3500 lb.) and ST205/75R14D tires. The trailer should have axles rated for 1995 kg (4400 lb.) and ST225/75R15D tires. As a result, the axles and tires could be overloaded. This could result in an axle or tire failure.

Safety Risk:
An axle or tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Keystone will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealer to replace the axles, tires and rims with parts rated for 1995 kg (4400 lb.)
