Issue:
On a small number of vehicles, the speedometer and odometer may change units, between miles per hour (mph) and kilometers per hour (km/h), while driving. This can happen without inputs from the driver.
Safety Risk:
A speedometer that changes units suddenly may confuse and distract the driver. In some cases it could lead a driver to break the speed limit or drive too fast. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle software.
