Transport Canada Recall - 2021016 - INKAS

Issue:
The alterer's label affixed to certain vehicles contains incorrect information. Specifically, the seating capacity is listed as 6, the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is indicated as 3,286 kg (7,244lbs), and the front and rear gross axle weight ratings (GAWR) are listed as 1,509 kg (3,327lbs). This could lead to overloading of the vehicle that could affect steering, handling, braking, and acceleration.

Safety Risk:
Overloading of the vehicle could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
INKAS has notified the current owner in writing and will make arrangements to correct the non-compliance conditions on each vehicle.
