Issue
Issue:
On certain fire trucks, the locking tabs on the positional waterway trolley can break if the proximity switches are not properly adjusted. As a result, the trolley can move when the water pressure is turned on. If this happens, the trolley can disconnect from the ladder and drop to the ground.
Safety Risk:
A positional waterway trolley that disconnects from the ladder and drops to the ground could create a risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Smeal will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact your local dealer to arrange for an adjustment of the proximity switches on the positional waterway trolley.
