Issue

Issue:
On certain trucks, the payload capacity listed on the tire and loading information label may be higher that it should be. In addition, the accessory reserve capacity (ARC) list on the compliance label may be higher that it should be. These errors could lead to overloading and cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Note: This recall only affects F-350 models with the following options: 6.7 L diesel engine, single rear wheels, 4x4, Crew Cab, long box, and either a 5442 kg (12,000 lb.) or 5623 kg (12,400 lb.) Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).

Safety Risk:
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to replace the tire and loading information label and compliance label.
