Issue:
On a small number of school buses, there may be a software problem with the engine control module. As a result, the engine power may not be reduced when certain safety systems activate, like the traction control system or collision avoidance system.
Note: This recall only affects buses equipped with a Cummins B6.7N natural gas engine.

Safety Risk:
Safety systems that do not work properly could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your bus to a Cummins authorized service center to update the engine control module software.
