Issue:
On a small number of trucks, the clutch damper could fail. If this happens, broken parts could prevent the clutch from disengaging. This could cause the truck to lurch or move suddenly.
Note: This recall only affects trucks built with an automated manual transmission (AMT).
UPDATE - After Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) notified Transport Canada about this problem, they determined that there are no Canadian vehicles affected by it. Accordingly, this safety recall was withdrawn.
Safety Risk:
There is no safety risk, as Canadian vehicles were not built with the recalled parts.
