Summary
Please see corrective actions section below
Affected products
2021 | CFMOTO | CFORCE 1000
Issue
Issue:
On certain ATVs, the vehicle's top speed is not limited when driving in the four-wheel drive lock position. If you drive at high speed in the locked position, the front differential could fail. This can also cause an increase in steering effort.
Safety Risk:
An increase in steering effort or a differential failure could cause a loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
CF Moto will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealer to add a wire to activate the speed limiter. To reduce the safety risk, CF Moto recommends that you should not drive your ATV in the four-wheel drive lock position until the recall repairs have been completed.
