Issue

Issue:
On certain motorcycles, there may not be enough grease in the rear wheel bearing. Over time, this could lead to a bearing failure. If this happens, the rear wheel could suddenly lock up.

Safety Risk:
A rear wheel that locks suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the rear wheel bearing. The dealer will replace any components that are damaged, if necessary.
