Issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the nuts that secure the exhaust pipe to the engine may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the nuts and securing collars could become loose and separate from the motorcycle. Safety Risk: Parts that detach from the motorcycle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the exhaust pipe gaskets and securing collars, and to install the mufflers correctly.
