Issue

Issue:
On a small number of transit buses, the latches for the compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel storage doors on the roof may be incorrect and could loosen. If this happens, the doors could open while driving.

Safety Risk:
Fuel storage doors that open while driving could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Vicinity Motor Corporation will email a notice to owners and provide them with directions for replacing the latches and hardware. To reduce the safety risk, Vicinity Motor Corporation recommends not to operate the bus until the recall repairs have been completed.
