Transport Canada Recall - 2022423 - COMMERCIAL TRUCK EQUIPMENT CO.

Issue:
On one truck modified by Commercial Truck Equipment, the rearview camera may not have been positioned correctly. As a result, part of the rearview camera image may not display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear.

Safety Risk:
A rearview camera image that does not display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action:
Commercial Truck Equipment will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealership to recalibrate the rearview camera.
