Issue:
On certain school buses, the fuel vapor hose may be missing a heat shield. As a result, heat from the exhaust system could damage the hose and create a fuel leak.
Note: This recall only affects school buses equipped with an 8.8 L gasoline engine.
Safety Risk:
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to install heat shield tubing on the fuel vapor line.
