Issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the water pump drive belt could become damaged and detach. As a result, the engine could overheat and cause the coolant elbow to rupture. If this happens, coolant could leak onto the turbocharger heatshield. Note: This recall only affects plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. Safety Risk: A coolant leak onto the turbocharger heatshield may lead to a fire in the engine bay. Corrective Action: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the engine coolant elbow and turbocharger feed coolant pipe.
