Issue

Issue:
On a small number of vehicles, the rear seat belt bracket may not have been properly welded to the seat frame. As a result, the seat belts for the rear left and centre seats could detach.

Safety Risk:
A seat belt that detaches in a crash could create an increased risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:
General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rear seat cushion frame. General Motors recommends not to use the rear left and centre seats until the recall repairs are completed.
