Transport Canada Recall - 2024143 - PREVOST

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the battery cables could become damaged by contact with a metal panel. If this happens, the cables could short circuit.

Safety Risk:
A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Additionally, a fire could result in passengers being evacuated in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:
Prevost will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a Prevost service center to inspect and, if necessary, reinstall the grommet for the battery cables.
